David Middlemas is currently a Professor in the Athletic Training and Sports Medicine Program at Montclair State University (NJ) where he spearheaded the development, and accreditation of the first Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in New Jersey. Dr. Middlemas earned his bachelor’s degree in Natural Sciences and Mathematics from Muhlenberg College (1977), a certificate in Athletic Training from the Pennsylvania State University (1979), Master of Arts in Physical Education with an emphasis in Sport Medicine from the Kearney State College in (1984), and a Doctor of Education in Educational Statistics and Measurement with a minor in educational administration specializing in higher education from Rutgers University (1999).
