D'Angelo has been in the public safety and private security industries for nearly 30 years. He retired as a Police Captain with the South Miami Police Department, having served 23 years In a variety of positions; including supervision and senior management. Upon transitioning to the private sector, he was hired as the corporate security leader for Baptist Health South Florida, where he served as an internal consultant for security and emergency preparedness to six hospitals and a multitude of outpatient facilities.
