Dr. Keihner is a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician who has been in active full-time clinical practice for over 10 years. She is double board certified in Brain Injury Medicine and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She is a Certified Life Care Planner, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. As a current staff physician at a busy tertiary care medical facility for U.S. Veterans, Dr. Keihner serves patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Dr. Keihner also has daily teaching and supervisory responsibilities as part of her faculty appointment at the University of California, Irvine Dept of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Michael Amendola is a practicing vascular surgeon at the Central Virginia VA Health Care System (CVVHS) in Richmond Virginia. He is the Division Chief of Vascular Surgery and the Head of The Vascular Duplex Laboratory. Dr. Amendola obtained his undergraduate and graduate degree in Chemistry from The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. He subsequently worked as a Research Associate for Merck and Company in Rahway, New Jersey utilizing computer aided rational drug design. He then undertook funded research in Department of Genetics at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine (VCU-SOM) In Richmond, Virginia. He started and completing medical school at VCU-SOM in 2002. He completed his general surgery residency and vascular surgery fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System in Richmond Virginia.
