...Much of his experience has been focused in two areas: (1) the rate of transfer of airborne pollutants, such as heavy metals, pesticides, and PFAS chemicals to produce surface contamination, and (2) the evaluation human exposures associated with agricultural use of pesticides, which includes the conduct of over 50 field trials to compile airborne emission rates to the atmosphere as a function of time, the development of the FEMS air quality modeling system to evaluate agricultural fumigants (approved by the EPA Science Advisory Panel), and refined modeling analysis to account for the variability in emission rates from agricultural fumigants and port fumigation.
