Malcolm Lim is a nationally recognized expert in the evaluation of concrete structures with more than thirty years of on-site experience. He has evaluated concrete structures in over ten different countries and has performed over two thousand forensic structural assessments. Mr. Lim is well versed in all NDT techniques and utilized NDT as part of his Master’s Thesis research. He was first to successfully demonstrate the use of Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) to evaluate inclusions in concrete pavements. Mr. Lim was part of the team that investigated the railroad/barrage incident in Alabama, and earthquake damage in California. To date, Mr. Lim has authored and co-authored twenty-two technical publications and has published a book on nuclear power plant assessment. Additionally, Mr. Lim holds two patents, one in the United States and one international patent.
