Michael H. Winer, M.D. is a board certified Orthopedic Surgeon with over 40 years experience in spinal surgery. Dr. Winer spent two years in the Army including a year in Viet Nam (December 1969 - 1970) for which he was awarded the Bronze Star. While in private practice in St. Louis from 1975 to 1993 he was clinical instructor with Washington University, Barnes Hospital Orthopedic Dept. & attending surgeon to the spine clinic at Shriners Hospital. He taught residents and fellows and participated in the WU Orthopedic Department’s Annual Spine Conference. Dr. Winer moved to Arizona in 1993 and has maintained an active medical license in Arizona since then. His private practice was limited to treatment of spinal conditions, including degenerative LBP, sciatica, sacraliliac joint dysfunction, spinal stenosis, spondylolisthesis & "failed back syndrome".
