James Patrick Murphy, MD, MMM, DFASAM is a nationally recognized physician leader and expert in Pain Management, Addiction Medicine and controlled substances prescribing. He is the Immediate Past President of the Kentucky Society of Addiction Medicine and is the American Society of Addiction Medicine’s representative on the influential American Medical Association Substance Use & Pain Care Task Force. Dr. Murphy is also the Southeastern United States Regional Director (Region X) for the American Society of Addiction Medicine. Dr. Murphy is founder & CEO of Murphy Pain Center, located in New Albany, Indiana.
