Radiology is too large of a field to be an expert in its entirety. 100% of my clinical practice is dedicated to imaging of the chest, abdomen, and pelvis. This has allowed me to become a true expert, rather than a jack of all trades.
I'm fellowship trained in both Abdominal Imaging and Emergency Radiology, in addition to board-certification by the American Board of Radiology. Examples of cases within my "sandbox" include pulmonary embolism, lung cancer, appendicitis, cholecystitis, diverticulitis, abdominal malignancy such as colon cancer that was missed, bowel obstructions... more or less, anything in the chest, abdomen, or pelvis.
