John Rheinstein is a board-certified prosthetist in full time clinical practice who has been caring for patients for 30 years with a focus on improving outcomes and helping people with limb loss reach their goals. He received his education in prosthetics from the Northwestern University Medical School Prosthetics & Orthotics Center. He is a Fellow with Distinction of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists and chairs the Academy’s Lower Limb Prosthetic Society.
John has specialized experience with complex lower and upper limb amputation patients, immediate postoperative care, and advanced technology prosthetics. He is the co-inventor of a patented post-op prosthesis and is active in research and new product testing.
