Dr. Melissa Bohonos is board-certified in Ophthalmology by the American Academy of Ophthalmology. She is fellowship trained in Glaucoma and is a comprehensive ophthalmologist in active practice seeing patients of all ages. Dr. Bohonos completed her ophthalmology training at Boston Medical Center, a level 1 trauma center with maximum exposure to a wide variety of ocular trauma pathology and cases. Dr. Bohonos has had additional fellowship training in Glaucoma and has performed over a thousand glaucoma procedures including complex glaucoma/cataract surgery, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (canaloplasty, istent implant), trabeculectomy, tube shunt implant, selective laser trabeculoplasty, cytophotocoagulation (cpc) and many more.
