I am a board certified clinical Endocrinologist. I have worked as a clinical endocrinologist with larger health care systems. I am the physician/owner of a Direct Care Endocrinology practice, Liberty Endocrinology. I have always enjoyed teaching at various levels including teaching experience with residents as a hospitalist and later as a fellow in training . I love working with my patients and teaching them how best to manage their medical conditions. I have enjoyed work which involves attention to detail. This ties into my clinical work as well as my experience as a physician reviewer in Utilization management. My practice, Liberty Endocrinology, operates a direct care model where I aim to provide my patients with more time and quicker access to their physician. I am a physician licensed to practice medicine in the state of Kentucky. I am a clinical endocrinologist and the Practice Lead of the St. Elizabeth Physicians Regional Diabetes Center. I am also the Clinical Director of Value-Based Performance and Director of Endocrinology Research for St. Elizabeth Physicians. I am an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Kentucky. I am the Northern Kentucky course director for MD 824: Endocrinology and Reproductive Systems. I hold hospital privileges at the St. Elizabeth Hospitals in Northern Kentucky. I have post-graduate medical education in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolism. I maintain an active board certification in Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolism. I have been in active clinical practice in Endocrinology for over 16 years. I see approximately 200 patients monthly treating Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes and another 200 patients monthly for other endocrinologic diseases.

After completing my chief residency in Chicago, IL in 2001, I worked in a small group practice in Chicago for a few years before moving back home to the Boston area in 2004. I have been at my current practice (just north of Boston) since November 2004 and have won various teaching awards, received a medical appointment to Harvard Medical School where I taught there for ten years (2006-2016) and was a preceptor for medical students from Brigham & Women's Hospital (Boston) and PA students from Northeastern University. Teaching medicine is my passion and advocating for my diverse patient population (ranging in age from 18 to 101) motivates me to be the best physician I can be. My clinical experience has helped me build a robust medical practice and I strongly believe I can help people navigate and make sense of medical complexities as they tie into legal concerns. He is highly experienced in the management of patients with diabetes and various endocrine disorders. These include patients with Type I and type 2 diabetes, and diseases of the thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, parathyroid and reproductive glands. He also treats other metabolic disorders such as obesity, osteoporosis, hypoglycemia and hypercalcemia. Dr. Graf is currently an active member of the American Diabetes Association and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE). Dr. Graf enjoys teaching. He speaks frequently to the local medical community on the management of diabetes and other endocrine disorders.
