David has over 30 years of experience in analytical chemistry and quality assurance. His career includes environmental analytical chemistry, energy research and development, specialty laboratory operation and management, and consulting.
Mr. Gratson is knowledgeable in the fields of organic, inorganic, and radionuclide analysis. He has performed and/or overseen more than 800 technical and statistical reviews of project planning or project reporting documents, and 50 audits since 2000. The range of projects has included hydraulic fracturing studies; mine waste characterization; innovative technology development; and superfund investigations. He provided extensive expertise in systematic planning for projects that spanned a wide variety of industries and analytes. Mr. Gratson is also knowledgeable and experienced in the preparation of and/or third-party review of analytical standard operating procedures (SOPs), field operation SOPs, and Quality Assurance Project Plans (QAPP)....
