I trained in Asia and Europe and am a master goldsmith, specializing in the identification and authentication, as well as the repair and restoration of antique jewelry and artifacts. I am also an accredited senior appraiser with the American Society of Appraisers with the designation of a Master Gemologist Appraiser. I am also the leading forensic gemologist. I am the founder and director of the Pennsylvania Gemological Laboratory (PGL) and a Past International President for the American Society of Appraisers, the worlds’ largest multi-disciplined appraisal society. In addition to many designations, I have over 40 years of experience as a teacher, lecturer, and appraiser of gems and jewelry for private clientele, banks, insurance companies, legal firms, and the State of Pennsylvania Treasury Department.
