Additional Information:I have practiced bariatric surgery since 1984 performing almost 2,000 major obesity surgery operations including vertical banded gastroplasties and gastric bypasses as well as revisions of these procedures. I have been a Member of the American Society for Bariatric Surgery (now ASMBS) since 1986, almost since its inception. I have attended almost every Annual Meeting of the Society as well as those of the International Federation for Surgery for Obesity (IFSO).
