I am a physician based in Arkansas who is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology. I graduated magna cum laude from Williams College (Williamstown, MA) and then completed medical school at the University of Alabama School of Medicine (Birmingham, AL). I stayed at the University of Alabama at Birmingham for obstetrics and gynecology residency, then moved to the National Cancer Institute for two year of research for my gynecologic oncology fellowship. I moved to the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center for my clinical gynecologic oncology fellowship. After graduation, I worked at Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC (Pittsburgh, PA) from 2005 to 2013, when I was recruited to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences as the division director for gynecologic oncology. I received my medical degree from Georgetown Medical School in 1981. In my second year of medical school I attained the "Health Professions Scholarship" and was assigned to the United States Army for the remainder of my education. I completed my residency in obstetrics and gynecology from Madigan Army Medical Center from 1981-1985. I served as an OBGYN physician in Augsburg, Germany from 1985-1987. I completed my fellowship in gynecologic oncology from Duke University in 1990. I became board certified in obstetrics and gynecology in 1987 and in gynecologic oncology in 1992.
