Additional Information: Dr. Perry entered solo private practice in 1981 gaining additional education and experience in interventional cardiology and rhythm management, primarily device use and implantation during his years of practice. He formed The Heart Center of Salt Lake in 1990 and was managing physician for seven of the ten years he practiced there. He accumulated a high volume of clinical experience and was medical director of the cardiac catheterization laboratory at St. Marks Hospital, raising quality to Healthgrades 5 stars and an award winning, top HCA lab. Beginning in 2002, Dr. Perry began working as a locum tenens physician and has practiced in ten states and well over fifty hospitals. He had a two year academic experience at the University of Nevada and ran the faculty practice organization while in Reno, Nevada. He remains board certified in cardiology and interventional cardiology. In his off hours, he writes fiction, enjoys music and pursues outdoor activities.
