Dr. Maloney is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He has been in private practice and hospital based oral and maxillofacial surgery for 14 years. He has expertise in office based surgery such as dental implants, bone grafting, wisdom teeth extractions, dental extractions and oral pathology. In addition, he has 14 years of experience at two Regional Level I Trauma Center Hospitals. Hospital based procedures he has expertise in include facial trauma such as mandible fractures, midface trauma, dental injuries and dental/head and neck infections. He has published articles in Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Craniomaxillofacial Trauma and Reconstruction and International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery on topics related to dental implants, 3-D cone beam tomography, mandible fractures and orbital fractures.
