Dr. Wolpov has practiced in the physical therapy industry for over 35 years, and she specializes in the outpatient orthopedic setting. In 1987, Dr. Wolpov graduated from Ithaca College with an undergraduate degree in Physical Therapy. She began employment as a PT in a variety of settings, including acute care in hospitals, and subacute care in nursing homes, home care, and assisted-living facilities. She also worked with athletes from the U.S. Olympic Team and for the NY Giants. In 2001, Dr. Wolpov graduated top of her class, with a 4.0 GPA and an MBA from Monmouth University. In May 2002, Dr. Wolpov opened Game Shape Physical Therapy and Fitness Center in Manalapan, NJ. Game Shape is a premier full-service physical therapy facility, also offering exclusive one-on-one personal training and fitness memberships. Game Shape is a Rehabilitation Network - Participating Location with the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) in New York City. In addition to working as a physical therapist, Dr. Wolpov began consulting as an Expert Witness in 2005 in the physical therapy and fitness industries. She has handled over 180+ cases for both plaintiff (65%) and defense (35%), writing expert opinions, and testifying at depositions and in court, specific to the Standard of Care. Her other expert consulting services include expert work in Fraud and RICO violations, litigation consulting, research / investigation, and billing and documentation auditing. In 2011, Dr. Wolpov graduated from the EIM – Institute of Health Professions with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy with emphasis in Executive Private Practice Management. Dr. Wolpov’s extensive hands-on Clinical Experience includes providing the most advanced, evidence-based treatment services to patients of all ages with both orthopedic and neurological conditions, including post-operative patients. Dr. Wolpov is preparing to sit for Orthopedic Board Certification (OCS), through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS), at some future date. She has taken over 90 continuing education courses in the areas of orthopedics, neurology, and sports medicine. Dr. Wolpov has also written many PT policies and procedures on the safe handling of patients and on fall prevention. Dr. Wolpov had always consistently risen through increasing levels of responsibility within the rehabilitation services industry. In the 1990’s, Dr. Wolpov opened and directed start-up physical therapy facilities throughout New Jersey for large PT companies. Dr. Wolpov also has strong business experience in the areas of strategic planning, financial management, operations, risk management, quality control, documentation auditing, policies & procedures, human resource management, marketing, and business development. She was also a nominee for the prestigious Athena Award for her commitment to the community and the advancement of women in business. Additionally, in 2017 Dr. Wolpov set out to promote new legislature to the general population, by authoring the book, “Direct Access to Physical Therapy: The Secret Revealed”, as she hopes to help people understand the benefits of seeing a physical therapist first for musculoskeletal problems.
